Who is it for?

The Foundation Course in Merseyside is hosted and led by the Cornerstone Collective and is designed for motivated congregational members, small group leaders, small groups, interns and elders of churches in and around the Merseyside area.

Why?

If you want to understand how the Bible affects your heart change in the context of community and mission, and to develop a 'gospel instinct' for everyday life, then the Crosslands Foundation Course is for you.

Studying alongside others from churches around Merseyside, the course is flexibly designed to be studied alongside the commitments of daily life, whether an hour or two  or up to a full day per week, without sacrificing rigour or theological depth.

How it works:

The programme runs throughout the year and is made up of three terms. Each terms is bookended by conferences days and focuses on four modules. Dates and modules are listed below. Click on the modules below to explore the content more!

Conference days are an opportunity for all candidates to come together to discuss what they have learned and look forward to the next modules. Teaching is made available with keynote speakers and seminars taking place to provoke further thought. Lunch is also provided!

Between conferences days candidates are encouraged to a study in small groups, this creates further space to reflect and apply the material they are covering. This can be done as Churches, small groups or even groups of friends.

Candidates can commit to undertake the full program that takes twelve months covering twelve modules. Alternately there is flexibility throughout the year to chose between one and four modules in any given term. It really is that flexible!

All study materials, videos, exercises and reflections are accessed online via the Crosslands website. Costs include module content, access to study group (if on 12 month programme) and a minimum of two conference days including lunch.
