Gospel training – when and where you need it

The Crosslands seminary course is designed for assistant pastors, aspiring church planters, apprentices and even those in ministry wanting to 'top-up' their theology.  For those not seeking accreditation, students cover Biblical, Pastoral, Doctrinal and Missional topics to gain a Crosslands Certificate over the course of one to three years.

The curriculum is as follows:

The course itself is delivered in-context and in-community using modern, blended techniques:

  • Active mentoring by the local church - all our students should be involved with their local church and study with their minister or mentor's support

  • Independent study - students should set aside a minimum of 10 hours' study per week, which includes a weekly contribution to a moderated blog.  This is online, via our partner, BibleMesh

  • Seminar days - each module in the course builds towards an assignment, which is presented and discussed in seminar days run by our Crosslands tutors.  These happen five times a year.

  • Intensive residentials - we gather all students in each Crosslands hub for 1 week in the Autumn, a weekend in February and a further week in the early Summer.  The residentials are great times for fellowship, introducing/closing modules, peer review activities and interaction with current theological issues

Applications close on 22nd June.  We expect to be at capacity so apply now to avoid disappointment.
