Chief Operating Officer appointed

Jen Charteris is the new Crosslands COO

The Crosslands board is excited to announce the appointment of Jen Charteris as Chief Operating Officer (COO).  Her role will be to oversee Crosslands’ ongoing operations, development and procedures, forming part of the senior leadership team responsible for fulfilling the vision, mission and strategy outlined by the board.

“Jen’s background in industry, consulting with international Christian ministries and active involvement in church planting mean she’s an excellent fit for this role as Crosslands continues to expand. Add to that her character, abilities and love for Christ and it's hard to think of a better fit.” said Steve Timmis (Board Chair and Acts 29 CEO).  “After 2 exciting years of setting up Crosslands with Acts 29, we're excited to see what God will do with it as we enter a new phase with the appointment a COO.  Jen brings great experience, energy and strategic thinking which we pray will enable Crosslands to grow and flourish” added Dan Strange (Board Member and Oak Hill College Director).

Jen joins with more than 25 years’ experience in strategic change, organisational consulting and board development.  A senior advisor on major change programmes in government, defence, infrastructure and the financial services sector, she has also worked internationally with leaders of Christian ministry organisations, supporting leadership development.

South African by birth, she is married to Hugo, an Acts 29 church pastor in Newcastle, England, where they have led and supported the planting of new churches over the past 12 years.

Jen will join the team in late Spring 2018.
